INTERNATIONAL YOUTH PARLIAMENT
Vladimir, Russia
09/03/08 thru 09/08/08

Attention, all active teens & parents, looking for something to do this summer? How about Europe?

Students, convert your energy and ideas into positive action. Want to travel, make a difference & experience foreign cultures, foods, sights and countries? Interested in meeting teens from all over the world?

Join teenagers from various countries for an International Youth Parliament Session in Vladimir, Russia September 3rd through September 8th, 2008.

Participants will join in sessions & workshops debating various contemporary and current topics about being a young adult in today’s world. Topics of discussion will be sharing your insights on families and relationships.

The Sarasota Sister Cities Association is inviting you to attend and be part of the Sarasota Sister Cities Association delegation to Russia. We are seeking outgoing adults to chaperone and accompany students interested in participating.

In the past, the SSCA has worked with our partnership towns and cities in Russia, Israel, China, Scotland, France, Canada and Italy to bring students together with local youth for similar projects and exchanges.

This trip promises to be an exciting, fun-filled, educational experience and opportunity for all involved. Students & chaperones will need a valid US Passport, will be staying with host families and will have to finance the visit themselves.

Please contact Sarasota Sister City Association’s City Director for Vladimir, Russia, Gundula Coleman, for details via email at CD_Russia@SarsotaSisterCities.org or via phone at (941) 730-2548 by August 4th, 2008.
